Job Overview

We are seeking a Development Engineer IV Semiconductor Device Continuous Improvement to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing cell efficiency through innovative processes and materials. This role focuses on optimizing thin film deposition processes in a highvolume manufacturing environment refining laboratory methodologies and developing advanced metrologies to characterize thin film and glass properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance cell efficiency by exploring innovative materials and thinfilm device methodologies.
• Design execute and analyze engineering tests including statistical evaluation and detailed interpretation of results.
• Identify and implement process improvements by leveraging material science expertise and understanding tool capabilities.
• Develop and refine metrologies for characterizing thin film and glass properties.
• Collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of engineering tests in a production setting.
• Clearly communicate technical findings and progress to stakeholders including senior management and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety environmental and housekeeping standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Ph.D. in an engineering discipline with 10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Masters Degree in an engineering discipline with 15 years of relevant technical experience.

Required Skills:

• Deep expertise in material science particularly compound semiconductors and thinfilm processes including chemical and physical vapor deposition techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of material characterization methods with the ability to integrate diverse data sets.
• Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams with varied technical backgrounds toward common goals.
• Strong skills in structured problemsolving combining empirical data analysis with scientific modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts across organizational levels.
