Phlebotomist Per Diem

We seek a dedicated phlebotomist to conduct blood draws for patients participating in critical studies. This position offers a unique blend of flexible scheduling and competitive compensation perfect for those seeking to balance work with personal commitments.

Location: Center City Philadelphia

Assignment Type: Per diem requiring your presence 12 times per month.

Schedule: Typically assignments are in the morning from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour. Assignments approximately require 2 hours of work but compensation is provided for 4 hours. Payment is processed the next day ensuring timely and efficient compensation for your dedication.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and empathetic execution of blood draws adhering to the highest standards of safety and patient care.
• Proper handling labeling and processing of specimens for analysis.
• Maintaining a sterile and organized work environment.
• Collaborating with the research team to ensure the smooth operation of the specimen collection process.
• Upholding strict patient confidentiality and providing compassionate support to study participants.

Requirements:

• Current Phlebotomy certification from a recognized institution.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in phlebotomy showcasing proficiency in blood collection techniques and patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients.
• Flexibility to meet the scheduled hours with punctuality and reliability.
• A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and patient privacy.
