Position Summary Job Summary The position of Vice President, North American Systems Operations is a balanced blend of ensuring client success, enabling operational efficiency, and driving revenue and margin growth for the US Systems business. In the role, you'll be responsible for the success of over 500 people delivering enterprise software platforms and operations for multiple Lottery Jurisdiction's.
As the leader, your key objectives and results will be focused on:
- Delivering on contractual commitments to the Lottery Jurisdictions
- Implementing programs to expand share of Scientific Games offerings withing the exist systems clients
- Ensuring projects and scope of work are well defined and delivered on schedule
- Retaining and extending existing client base
- Deliver Financial Results for revenue and EBITDA growth
- Enable talent growth and progression within the organization
You and your leadership team will partner across multiple arms of the company such as business development, Product, Development, Government Relations, Finance, Legal, SGeP and Instant Games to maintain Scientific Game's customer relationships and drive success for our Lottery clients. Job Duties / Key Accountabilities - Lead customer relationship management for existing and potential customers to ensure continued strength and effectiveness of the partnership
- Develop long-term strategic account, operational and revenue plans for each jurisdiction.
- Develop and deploy objectives and key results aligned to the strategic vision of Scientific Games and Lottery Systems
- Collaborate with respective site leaders to ensure contractual compliance of their contracts.
- Implement coaching and development standard resulting in a high performing team delivering against key business metrics.
- Support the RFP process within the jurisdictions to ensure commitments can be met and delivered on between development, project management and your operations teams.
- Collaborate with Senior Director and site Director to drive sales and initiatives for each lottery customer.
- Support your leaders in the development, support and delivery of site budgets and P&Ls to achieve financial commitments.
- Direct business capture activities including the development of opportunity plans and leading the business through strategy.
- Partners with leadership to maintain, extend, and win further contracts with each jurisdiction.
- Partners with Government Relations on items within each jurisdiction to advance the lottery and scientific games objectives
- Partner with HR business partners to ensure all corporate and employee guidelines are successfully implemented to ensure employee success
Qualifications Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge Required:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
•7+ years demonstrated leadership experience in building and leading high-performing teams with a focus on talent.
•Extensive project management and problem solving experience within multi-disciplinary teams.
•P&L / Budget Management in excess of $50M USD
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•On Call 24/7 for operational support
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Desired:
- 7+ years of lottery experience with strong emphasis on systems hardware and network communications.
- 3+ years' experience as a leader of leaders with Director + direct reports
- Previous experience with State or Local Government agency
