We are currently seeking a Terraform Engineer (GCP / Onsite / FTE) to join our team in Charlotte , North Carolina (US-NC) , United States (US) .

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Talented and experienced Terraform Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform. Candidate must have strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a focus on terraform and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP

Job Responsibilities

1. Provision Services and resources on GCP
2. Fix, and improve infrastructure continuously
3. Troubleshoot operational issues related to infrastructure
4. Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuously
5. Collaborate with internal teams and respective stakeholders to understand user requirements and implement technical solutions
6. Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services

Technical Skillset

1. In-depth knowledge of GCP services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Big Table, Big Query, Composer, etc.
2. 3 to 5 years’ experience on GCP with expertise in Terraform, including writing and maintaining Terraform configurations and modules
3. 5+ years of experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
5. Strong understanding of Cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and networking in GCP
6. Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
7. Skilled in system-level architecture, like Linux or Windows
8. Hashicorp Certification: Terraform Associate required
9. Hashicorp Certification: Vault Associate preferred

Google Cloud Certification required. Professional DevOps certification preferred

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in GCP
• 5+ years of experience in Python
