Job Description

Plaza OB/GYN Associates, a well-established private practice in the Museum District in Houston, Texas is looking for a compassionate and experienced Phone Triage Nurse. ( RN, LVN or LPN ) to join our team.

• The Candidate will help us ensure our patients receive the best guidance and support. The Candidate will assess the patient's needs over the phone, assessing their symptoms and consulting with providers as needed. and determining the appropriate level of care. The candidate will also contact patients about abnormal lab results and order additional tests.
• The Candidate will also help with scheduling procedures or Xrays, help with prior authorization requests and will address other routine patients' phone calls. 
• The Candidate will document all these encounters in the EMR.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse or LVN or LPN.
• Previous experience in. Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and to work with other team members.
