Verus Researchis searching for a Senior Pulsed Power Engineerto participate in research and development efforts across multiple technical areas, including high-current and high-voltage pulsed power machines, electromagnetic pulse (EMP) systems, and complex system integration efforts.
The Senior Pulsed Power Engineerwill be required to participate in and eventually lead the synthesis of pulsed power solutions for advanced testing technologies. The Senior Pulsed Power Engineer will design and develop novel pulsed power systems and perform experimental testing and analysis to support system applications. Applications include high-current and high-voltage applications from mega-ampere Z pinch drivers to mega-volt EMP systems. The candidate is also expected to work collaboratively with teams of engineers and scientists to achieve integrated outcomes for system development.
