The following is a summary of key responsibilities (Senior-level):
· Provide supporting administrative and business operational functions to the Owners. This includes a diverse work portfolio of various clients.
· Managing and supervising a team of associates and ensuring the quality and timeliness of their work. This includes providing guidance, feedback and coaching, reviewing audit workpapers and reports, resolving issues and conflicts, and evaluating performance.
· Planning and setting goals for the business and the team. This should include a clear vision of the Owners expectations, how to achieve those expectations and a pathway for success.
· Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, client operations, compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Participate and complete administrative, walkthrough and test of control responsibilities in support of Client requirements with the Sarbanes Oxley act of 2002.
· Providing assurance and advisory services on internal audit, internal controls, Sarbanes Oxley walkthroughs and test of controls, governance, risk management and compliance. This includes conducting audits, special audits, investigations, or reviews as requested or required, providing insights and best practices, and supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
· Coordinating with the Clients’ external auditors, regulators and other stakeholders on Client Services related matters. This includes facilitating information sharing, addressing inquiries and requests, ensuring compliance with Client requirements and professional standards, and maintaining good relationships.
· Communicating Client Services results and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee or personnel as directed by Owners. This includes preparing and presenting clear, concise and accurate reports, highlighting significant findings and risks, proposing practical and effective solutions, and following up on the implementation of corrective actions.
