POSITION DESCRIPTION
DBL Law is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Residential Real Estate Paralegal. The person in this position will provide support for the residential Real Estate group, and for the Commercial Group as needed. This position offers a competitive salary, good benefits, and pleasant working conditions

JOB DUTIES
  • Assist with the completion of real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, reviewing title reports, assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of closing documents and closing reports checking for completeness and accuracy and obtaining signatures.
  • Assist with the preparation of HUD/Settlement Statement/CD by utilizing lender instructions.
  • Respond to inquiries from all persons involved in a real estate transaction in a timely and professional manner including lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers.
  • Record important dates and maintain files.
  • Coordinate closings with all parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-2 years of experience in a real estate title company or law firm.
  • Knowledge of RESPA, title insurance, and residential or commercial real estate title matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on a team in a dynamic environment.
