Job Description: Quality Manager - Wind Industry

We're hiring a Quality Manager to take charge of the quality processes for the repair and remanufacturing of wind turbine gearboxes. What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead Quality Processes: Oversee the repair and remanufacturing of wind turbine gearboxes, ensuring every component meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
• ISO 9001 Compliance: Maintain and enhance our ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System, ensuring we meet all certification requirements.
• Conduct Quality Audits: Plan and carry out internal and external audits to ensure processes are optimized and aligned with industry best practices.
• Improve Systems: Dive deep into mechanical processes to identify inefficiencies, solve problems, and implement improvements that elevate the quality of our products.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards into operations.
• Be a Customer Champion: Address quality concerns, resolve issues, and build trust in our commitment to excellence.
• Mentor and Train: Share your knowledge of quality systems and mechanical processes to help your team grow and improve.
• Manage Risks: Anticipate potential quality challenges and put strategies in place to mitigate them before they become issues.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in Quality Management: 5+ years of experience in a quality role, ideally in manufacturing, remanufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors.
• ISO 9001 Expertise: Deep understanding of ISO 9001 standards and how to apply them to real-world operations.
• Hands-on Problem Solver: Someone who enjoys getting into the nuts and bolts of mechanical systems to find solutions and make improvements.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, inspire confidence, and drive a culture of quality and precision.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with gearbox mechanics, rotating equipment, or heavy machinery is a big plus.
• Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) certifications are a bonus.
