CHLA | Pediatric Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular

Pediatric NP or PA

• Credentialing is ~120 days. 3–6-month contract to start. Long term potential and also opportunity to transition to permanent provider after initial contract!
• Days and nights available, 7 days a week, 7a-7p.
• Types of cases/patients: 10-12 patients per day. Inpatient CTS & CVICU post-op. Post-Cath patients. Their service line covers IP & OP (pre-op clinic, ICU, ward, and post-op clinic) BUT the locum would focus on the inpatient post-surgical patients (ICU and CVICU).
• Procedures/Cases Required: chest tubes, wire removal, etc., simple-post-op procedures.
• Support Staff: nurse, cardiology attending, fellow, potentially a resident but not always
• EMR: Cerner

**This is a W2 contract position that has employee benefits available (Medical, 401k, paid sick leave)
