POSITION PURPOSE

The Photo Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creative team in all things photography, they will be the go to person for all photo needs. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail oriented, and a well-organized multitasker that thrives on learning and process improvement, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with, Creative, Merchandising and other Marketing and Ecommerce teams. A background and working experience in photography is a must.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers related to all photography needs
  • Organize photos from all external partners on a daily basis
  • QC color on all photography before final upload to google drive
  • Reassign projects to necessary partners as edits are needed
  • Extreme attention to detail for editing imagery and seeing color, this role also acts as a final eye of all photography
  • Assure all final photos match the sample color, keeping track of discrepancies with images and making sure those are amended in imagery before finalizing
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop to color correct, retouch, and resize photos as needed
  • Make sure all images are accounted for each launch with Shopify team
  • Contribute to maintenance of shot list for all photography as needed
  • Work with sample coordinator and production to track deadlines and arrival times of samples and ensure they meet campaign deadlines
  • Maintain file and folder structure and updating company database
  • Sample selection and organization for upcoming campaigns, making sure all sample requests are complete with needed pairings and merch stories

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 4 year degree in Creative, Photography, Marketing or related discipline

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 2-4 years of experience in photography, editing, coordinating, with most recent experience in eCommerce for a fashion brand.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Advance understanding of Adobe Photoshop, lightroom, capture one and any other photo editing platforms

Keen eye for detail and color in photography

Advanced in microsoft excel & good sheets

Familiar with Shopify and Asana

Excellent organizational and time management

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
