Part-Time Outpatient Therapist - Anger Management - Adolescents

Your Impact in This Role

• Run anger management groups for adolescents in a community-based setting.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Conduct minimal individual check-ins and family meetings as needed.
• Work under the guidance and support of a lead therapist.

What You Bring to The Table

• LSW, LPC, or above required.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with relevant licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT).
• State Licensure per state requirements.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Excited to come to work and make a difference.
• Desire to work with adolescents in managing anger.
• Strong time management skills – ability to complete notes during work hours.
• Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• Experience in group therapy, mental health, and working with the adolescent population.

Nice to Have

• MSW, Independent licensure, or supervisory designation.
• Comfortable having difficult conversations.
• Ability to consult on tough cases.
