Title : Medical Reviewer
Location : Remote - must be available to work on EST hours
Pay Rate: $80+/hr, commensurate with experience
Type: contract (renewable)

**Must be US Board Certified Medical Doctor, licensed to practice medicine in the US; OR Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant or a Pharmacist licensed in the US.**

JOB SUMMARY:
Joule has multiple openings for Medical Reviewers that are able to work east coast hours. The selected medical professionals must have recent patient and healthcare experience within the United States.  Activities include performing medical reviews of short, consumer-facing articles or a specific part of the care journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to follow and adhere to protocols and rubric standards.
• Rate each article medical accuracy (consistent with prevailing medical standard of care).
• Rate each article for medical safety per.
• Rate overall article on scale.
• Rate overall article as acceptable for consumer health education.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Current licensure as a physician within the U.S.
• Current or recent (within past 5 years) experience in direct patient care
• 3 years minimum in post-licensure clinical practice (residency or fellowship does not count)
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and editing consumer healthcare materials.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical informatics to transform medical/clinical concepts to technical or programming requirements.
