Job Summary:
Join us as an Independent Contractor and bring your expertise in Oral Surgery, Orofacial Pain, Dental Sleep, and Medicare billing. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, using your own computer that meets our IT standards. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical insurance billing, including proficiency in claim submission, insurance payment posting, and appeal processes, you'll be a key player in ensuring our clients receive the financial support they need.

We're looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent time management skills. In this role, you will assist clients by managing and following up on outstanding medical claims, helping to collect what is owed and ensuring proper resolution.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, including dental billing knowledge.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to track and manage claims efficiently.
Proficient in reviewing denials and verifying the accuracy of explanations of benefits.
Responsibilities:

Review and submit clean claims with the correct modifiers to insurance companies electronically or via the 1500 form.
Verify insurance payments for accuracy and compliance with provider contracts and patient benefits.
Perform collection actions, including communication with clients and insurance companies via phone and online platforms.
Utilize accounts receivable reporting to review, appeal, and resolve unpaid and denied claims.
Review all denials to ensure explanations of benefits are accurate and resolve any issues.
Expectations and Commitment:

As an Independent Contractor, you will use your own computer that meets our IT requirements.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of dedicated billing experience with Health Fusion or Advanced MD.
Access to a dedicated workspace, reliable computer, printer, and high-speed internet.
Deep understanding of explanations of benefits (EOBs) and proficiency in posting payments and adjustments.
Ability to work independently, set goals effectively, and maintain a high level of discipline and attention to detail.
Efficient in reviewing account ledgers and payments, ensuring accurate adjustments.
