Job Purpose:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team to help generate revenue by effectively managing outstanding medical claims. In this role, you will follow established protocols to ensure timely review and resolution of claims while verifying coding and payment accuracy to meet client needs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with insurance companies to follow up on claims, ensuring timely and complete payments.
Research, correct, and submit claims and appeals as necessary to facilitate resolution.
Communicate with insurance representatives to address any discrepancies in payments.
Process and document adjustments, including write-offs, transfers, and chargebacks across various platforms.
Provide additional information to clients to support collection efforts.
Analyze insurance reimbursement receipts for accuracy and compliance.
Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information by adhering to professional standards and all applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical billing is required.
Familiarity with medical billing terminology and processes is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze information effectively.
Excellent documentation skills.
Strong time management abilities.
Focused on delivering quality results.
Basic math skills are required.
