Job Description

• Patient Intake & Documentation of Clinical Care: Assist in preparing exam rooms, documenting patient intake, and monitoring outcomes of care.
• CLIA-Waived Lab Testing: Perform lab tests and handle blood collection procedures.
• Administer In-Office Diagnostic Tests: Conduct EKGs, vision, and hearing screenings.
• Assist Healthcare Provider During Exams & Procedures: Aid providers during examinations and document patient information.
• Medication Prior Authorizations: Handle medication prior authorizations with insurance companies.
• Vaccines For Children Program: Understand program requirements and assist in administering vaccines.
• Online Incident Reporting: Report any variances or patient complaints using our reporting system.
• Inventory Control and Medical Supplies: Monitor and order medical supplies as needed.
• EHR Clinical In-box: Process electronic documents and correspondence.
• Miscellaneous: Aid in office safety and handle emergency situations as needed.

• Required Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS certification.
• Required Experience: Computer skills and office system proficiency.
• Required Skills: Customer service, communication, teamwork, organizational skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNA or accredited Medical Assistant certification, medical office experience.

• Population(s) served: Neonatal to geriatric, diverse demographics.
• Physical demands: Fast-paced environment, some lifting and physical activity.
