Marketing Assistant – DC Enclosures, Inc.
DC Enclosures, Inc. is a premier provider of custom enclosures, sunrooms, and screen and pool enclosures. We are seeking a well-rounded and organized Marketing Assistant to support our sales and marketing teams, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong multitasking skills and a background in both marketing and administrative support. This is not a remote position.
Generalized Duties:
Support sales staff by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information.
Schedule sales activities, consultations, and travel routes for the team.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and projects for production.
Assist the owner with daily tasks for our established home improvement business.
Maintain the sales department’s workflow by managing calendars, appointments, and followups.
Handle incoming calls, route to appropriate staff, and set appointments with professionalism and a cheerful attitude.
Specific Sales Support Duties (for a Sales Team of 4):
Set initial consultations and identify qualified leads.
Send professional proposals, follow up, and process agreements and addendums.
Track leads and implement nurturing procedures.
Create and send radius mailers for sold projects and implement referral programs.
Compile completion pictures and assist with software and device issues.
Organize and track sales contests and assist with commission payments.
Maintain and update databases, reports, and correspondence for the sales team.
Prepare marketing materials such as direct mail and postcards for prospective clients.
Marketing Duties:
Maintain web hosting and email accounts, and manage social media platforms.
Plan and manage advertising schedules, meet with media companies, and strategize marketing initiatives in the manager's absence.
Assist customers in the showroom, over the phone, and via email.
Assist with marketing and installation departments’ administrative needs.
Track marketing results, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Assist in creating, tracking, and distributing marketing materials like direct mail and postcards.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Support in maintaining bookkeeping and basic accounting records using QuickBooks.
Update and organize files, both electronic and paper.
Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and handling correspondence.
Assist with commission tracking and processing.
Requirements:
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures (QuickBooks experience is a must).
Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Familiarity with TEAMS and Office 365.
Must be dependable, detail oriented, with high stress tolerance.
Previous experience in an office assistant role (2+ years) and accounting (2+ years).
Experience in a construction setting is required.
Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug screening pre-employment.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required).
