Position: Lead Data Analyst and Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior-level professional with a robust background in both Data Analysis and Data Engineering. This leadership role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and managing a small, dynamic team to deliver high-quality data solutions and insights. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, with strong expertise in understanding enterprise business processes and reporting requirements, as well as hands-on experience with data engineering tools and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Process Understanding:

• Deep comprehension of business processes across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.

2. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a small team, providing guidance and hands-on support.
• Organize and manage business meetings, coordinate schedules, and prioritize deliverables effectively.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience in data engineering with expertise in AWS and Databricks.
• Proficient in using reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and AWS QuickSight.

4. Collaboration and Delivery:

• Work closely with business units to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data solutions and reports.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Data Analysis and Data Engineering roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage small teams.
• Strong background in business processes and reporting within an enterprise setting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Proficiency in reporting tools including OBIEE, Tableau, and AWS QuickSight.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
