Interior Designer Position – Architecture & Design Firm

Position Overview
The firm is looking for an Interior Designer to contribute to the development of institutional projects, with opportunities to work on future residential, cultural, and educational developments. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in impactful projects while upholding the firm’s commitment to quality, creativity, and contextual integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to refine and implement conceptual designs into cohesive interior solutions.
Develop and manage detailed technical documentation, including construction details and specifications.
Create efficient space layouts that prioritize functionality, comfort, and accessibility.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design seamlessly into broader project frameworks.
Select and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings to align with project goals.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
Provide oversight and mentorship to Junior Designers and Interns, fostering their professional growth while maintaining project integrity.
Skills & Requirements
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Strong design sensibility with solid technical knowledge.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A commitment to collaboration and active participation in studio culture.
Programs & Software Proficiency
AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (required).
Strong graphic production and presentation abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000 (based on experience), with opportunities for bonuses.
