Job Description

Overview:

The VP of HR Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the human resources department, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services and programs. This role focuses on optimizing HR processes, managing HR systems, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The VP HR Operations works closely with the CHRO to implement HR strategies that support the company's goals

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, inclusivity, and high performance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including HR administration, payroll, benefits, and HRIS.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Leverage HR technology and data analytics to improve HR processes and decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Manage the HR Operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Support employee relations activities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to ensure continuous employee development.
  • Ensure operational support for leadership development initiatives, including the implementation and management of leadership programs and resources.
  • Assist with talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts, ensuring operational support for these initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior HR operations leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Proven experience in process improvement and HR systems optimization.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
