Role Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Coach to provide financial education to employees regarding their 401(k), 403(b), and other retirement plans. This role focuses on educating employees about their plan options and utilizing our proprietary financial wellness platform, WellCents, to foster relationships and create opportunities for referrals to our wealth management team.
You will conduct both group and individual financial education sessions, aiming to increase employee participation, boost deferral elections, and provide investment education. While prior experience in financial services is not required, a passion for learning and creating positive outcomes for employees is essential. This position offers a hybrid or remote schedule with travel requirements of approximately 10-15% within your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging group and individual financial education meetings, both in-person and virtually.
Serve as the primary contact for financial education, ensuring prompt and excellent service to clients and their employees.
Prepare for meetings in advance and follow up on deliverables.
Cross-sell additional services as appropriate.
Consult with internal teams to ensure compliance with client matters.
Provide clear and timely correspondence, resolving questions or issues effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with comfort in public speaking, coaching, and education.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in building and managing client relationships; retirement plan knowledge is a plus.
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to make sound independent decisions and interact effectively with diverse personalities.
Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
A calm, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Education and Experience:
A college degree or relevant experience is preferred.
Spanish language fluency is a plus.
Prior experience in corporate, sales, education, project management, or administrative roles is beneficial.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $125,000, determined by experience, credentials, education, and geographic location.
