Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic dental assistant to join our dental office family. Applicants must have good communication skills, work independently, but also be a team player.

Listing is for full-time, but we are open to part-time with a set schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary duties will include chairside assisting, taking X-rays, instrument sterilization, and preparing/breaking down treatment rooms. 
• Part of being a team player would mean helping out where needed including, but not limited to answering the phone, scheduling appointments, taking payments, and preparing/presenting treatment plans.
• Expanded assistant duties that would be very welcome, but not required for an applicant could include making temporary crowns, packing cords, taking impressions, etc. 
• We would be more than willing to train a determined applicant for expanded duties. 
• Expanded duties would be a path for an increased wage. Meaning that an employee can demonstrate consistent high-quality execution of expanded duties without help from the dentist.

Schedule: Hours are generally Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-5:15 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break). Flexible on which days you work, but would require a set schedule. For example, M,Tu,Th.

Pay: Hourly based on skills, quality of work and work ethic. Potential for professional growth.

COVID-19 / Infection Control Measures available to you but not necessarily required include but are not limited to: Air purifiers, Respirator masks and Level 3 surgical masks, Face Shields, Fluid resistant gowns, Surgical caps, UV light box, and Disposable barriers.
