DATA BASE MANAGER

Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:

  • Responsible for receiving, setting up, and scheduling of data processing requests. Assist in or provides information to departments as requested.
  • Responsible for data input to master records. Responsible for creating records for new constituents and for modifying data in existing records to ensure the most efficient and accurate method of inputting data including deletes and merges.
  • Oversees and/or performs input/processing of graduation sheets information. Modifies graduate import routines to reflect changes in standard or in Raisers Edge tables/attributes.
  • Responsible for entering changes and monitoring entries to database including the assigning/overseeing of traces, holds or any tracking of alumni. Researches where to get the best address verification services and knows how to verify addresses.
  • Evaluates and initiates code criteria for data input, checks history, gets codes corrected and researches/solves database problems. Performs add/change/delete table entries. Maintains the strategy and range IDs for new constituents.
  • Reviews results of production jobs checking for accuracy. Ensures/verifies that data errors and exceptions are fixed. Monitors and performs file queries, fixes, and assignments as required/requested for data file and record management. Do all global data changes and keep records in amendments file.
  • Understands and runs special database add-on modules.
  • Coordinates production efforts between data processing functions and deals with users regarding problems. Interacts with technical support.
  • Oversees the processing of life-event articles for proper coding.
  • Receive, enter into Raisers Edge, and receipt gifts to the university.
  • Reconcile gift income quarterly with accounting firm of Brady Martz.
  • Reconcile year-end reports and coordinate requests for annual audit.
  • Organize and maintain confidential files including donor and prospect information, students and staff.
  • Compile information for Development Foundation Annual Report.
  • Produce/create donor reports/giving history reports as needed.
  • Research where to get the best address verification services and know how to verify addresses.
