Green Logistics is a privately-owned, asset-based trucking company specializing in dedicated freight programs, intermodal and port-to-port drayage, and yard switching services.
Green Logistics currently operates forty (40) day cab tractors in the following states: Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, and Delaware. We utilize both day and evening drivers to meet the service needs of our clients.
We operate intermodal operations in Atlanta, Memphis, and Louisville. Port operations in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Norfolk. We have a large yard switcher operation in Cherokee, AL and smaller operations in other states.

All Class A CDL drivers are paid per week and are paid by the hour + OT above 40 hours each week.
CLASS A CDL YARD JOCKEY OPPORTUNITY
We have an immediate opening in our Cherokee, AL location for a Class A CDL Yard Jockey. This position is not remote and will require the employee to report to Cherokee, AL
This position is for first shift (7AM-7PM). Rotating schedule 2 on/2 off; 3 on/3 off; every other weekend.
Class A CDL Yard Jockey is responsible for moving empty and loaded trailers in and around a large mill yard and performing periodic yard checks as needed.
CLASS A CDL BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $17 - $19/hour – OT time and a half above 40 hours
10 days Paid Time Off + all major holidays
401K – company match first 4%
Annual safety bonus up to $1,800
Health Benefits – portion employee covered, ST and LT Disability
2020 Ottawa Switchers with full-service maintenance contracts for all switchers.
CLASS A CDL DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:
6+ months verifiable Class A CDL driving experience required.
1+ year experience switching preferred, but not required.
Preferred experience operating an Ottawa switcher, but not required.
