Purpose of Role
The primary responsibility involves auditing, developing, maintaining certification, and consistently enhancing the effectiveness of the Business Management System (BMS), with a focus on quality and environmental requirements, to ensure its alignment with future needs.
This role includes overseeing and supporting a process-driven business model and system, encompassing the creation of standard procedures, work instructions, training materials, and associated documentation. Conducting internal audits across all business areas is critical to identifying non-conformities, risks, and opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
The role will require to:
• Support the organization in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the BMS, in accordance to ISO Management Systems Requirements, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ESG programme.
• Support the certification and surveillance audits of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, implementation of IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management Systems, and ISO 14001 Environmental management systems. Requirements with guidance for use, as required.
• Maintain and support the documentation of the business core and supporting process model, process register and associated policies, process maps, business procedures, work instructions and supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain audit programme (internal and external, i.e. Customer, ISO certification), to identify and resolve process nonconformities. This includes the identification, reporting and completing robust and timely root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective action plans.
• Promote a customer focused, process and risk-based thinking approach when developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of the BMS. Manage the quality, environmental and ESG risk registers.
• Develop and communicate to the management performance metrics that summarise the effectiveness and status of the BMS, such as adherence to audit schedule, document changes, non-conformities, corrective action plans, etc.
• Support regular quality and environmental management review meetings.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the business.
• Support the organisation in developing, reviewing and the provision of BMS training and awareness programmes.
• Support the organization in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the ESG programme, this includes reporting on GHG Emissions, Product/Service Carbon Footprint, Energy Use, Pollution, Waste, Water Stewardship, etc.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual primarily responsible for proactive and professional business system auditing, exhibiting strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills while driving process-oriented change.
This individual must prioritise customer satisfaction, business needs, proficiently identify and manage business system risks and opportunities, and demonstrate keen attention to detail.
They should possess comprehensive knowledge of current best business practices and systems, while keeping abreast of future business system requirements such as regulatory compliance, statutory legislation, and standards. Furthermore, the candidate should have a willingness to learn, adapt to new skills, and embrace fresh challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
➢ 3+ years’ experience in: o ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing o IATF 16949 Automotive quality management system standard (Quality management systems for automotive production and relevant service parts organisations) o ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems. ➢ A qualified lead or internal auditor for: o ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems and o IATF 16949 Automotive quality management system standard (Quality management systems for automotive production and relevant service parts organisations) o ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems. ➢ Experience in working with new product design & development projects, sustaining engineering projects, manufacturing and distribution
➢ Proficient in the implementation of quality data systems, key performance indicators and scorecards ➢ Demonstrated a high level of influencing, communication, change management, time management and training skills ➢ Well-practised in process mapping, using tools, such as MS Visio
➢ Proven organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workflow to meet established time frames and schedules
➢ Proficient use of software programs – Microsoft (MS) Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio
Desirable:
➢ Project management, training and coaching skills .
➢ A qualified lead or internal auditor for ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems .
➢ 2+ years in an ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems role .
➢ Completed Lean and Six Sigma programme .
➢ Mastery of software programs - MS Project or equivalent, Minitab, Qualipro, Keywatch, Cognidox, IFS.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is essential.
