Business Analyst III

CNDS is actively searching for a seasoned Business Analyst III to provide comprehensive business analysis support services. The Business Analyst III will provide support to the project management team ensuring project plans follow forecasts/trends and support evidenced-based program performance. The Business Analyst III will also support the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and assessing of various Federal projects.

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Business Analyst III : Pay commensurate with experience.

Business Analyst III Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the project management team in responding to inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Review business processes and provide recommendations for identified process improvement. Provide detailed project plans for the customer to implement changes to better achieve office goals.
  • Track fund execution, including commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and expenditures for programs. Provide necessary reports.
  • Analyze project data to forecast and analyze trends, reporting regulations, and business conditions to support funding decisions and budget allocation.
  • Provide process insights and recommendations to optimize project resource allocation.
  • Identify potential schedule delays and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely obligation and drawdown of project allocations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast project financial outcomes based on current performance and project timelines. Implement performance measures for successful project evaluation.
  • Monitor project health and flag risks or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing reports for submission to stakeholders and conducting studies and needs assessments for the organization.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and documentation. Conduct assessments to determine vulnerabilities within the organization.
  • Participate in project review meetings to discuss performance and strategies for improvement.
  • Develop tracking and reporting mechanisms to facilitate project management and Tracking.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Business Analyst III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • A 4-year degree bachelor's degree and minimum of six years of additional work experience preferred.
  • Associate degree/Highschool Diploma and minimum of five years of additional work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data, interact effectively with others in various functional and technical backgrounds, and handle pressures in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to use a high degree of professional judgment and ingenuity in interpreting guidelines for application in day-to-day issues and analyses. Ability to perform problem-solving of a precedent-setting nature.
  • Proficiency in using financial systems and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for presentation of analysis and preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Contractor personnel must have the appropriate security clearance/background check at the time of contract start date.
  • Requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
