Position Overview
The Department of Biological Sciences at the Main Campus of the University of North Texas seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, dependent upon department teaching needs.
Lecture and/or laboratory courses with anticipated need may include, and are not limited to, Medical Terminology, Environmental Science, Biology for Science Majors, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Human Evolution & Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Animal Physiology, Parasitology, Immunology, Biochemistry, as well as specialized courses such as Forensic Microscopy, for which specific credentials, education and experience may be required.Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with 18 advanced/graduate hours in the area of Biological Sciences relevant to the course assignment(s). Demonstrated college teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences relevant to the course assignment(s). Three years of demonstrated college teaching experience.
