Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM, 14 hours per week.
SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, which provides behavioral health services to adults who have been diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness. The ACT program is comprised of a multi-disciplined team including skilled staff in psychiatry, nursing, and social work. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be given an agency vehicle to use for ongoing home visits with the clients. Travel is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree from a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program required.
Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State required. National Board Psychiatric Certification.
Candidate must possess a collaborative practice agreement with a physician and designated protocols, both filed with the New York State Department of Education.
At least 1 year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required; experience with an EMR is preferred.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills required.
Valid and clean New York State Driver’s License required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires sitting for long periods of time and travelling to conduct home visits.
