Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the handling of vendor invoices, approvals, and records. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks effectively, with a strong emphasis on timely and accurate processing.

Responsibilities:

• Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing.
• Maintain accounts payable files and records.
• Approve company invoices.
• Perform data entry and spreadsheet management.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices and payment details.
• Self-motivated and with strength in time management and task completion.

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred or applicable work experience.
• 1-3 years in accounts payable or an accounting position.
• Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems preferred.
